Umm so what kind of geriatrics is of excellence, that's what I don't get. Do we mean a medicine or sth???

Hi Irini,
"Gériatrie" is the branch of medicine dealing with old age.
I imagine that a "gériatrie d'excellence" refers to a geriatrics service (in a hospital, a hospice, a private clinic,...) with an excellent standard of care (but this is only intuition and cannot be induced directly by the text)
