I'm going to explain this in English: The first sentence is fine, but I think you may have misunderstood the second sentence. The contrast is being made between "goods" (ürunler) and "services" (hizmetler). Then, when the writer says "the product" both goods and services are meant. I can understand why this would be confusing!
