Hi merdogan,

I think you mean: "She's somehow attractive" (in some way)
or
"She's little attractive" (not enough)

It should be: "a little bit attractive" - the word "a" is important in English - the phrase is not negative. Also, there is no subject, so it could be she, he, or it.

merdogan, take off the "she is" - how do you know what the subject is?

it´s ok... It doesn´t make sense in context anyway... thank you so much for the help, though... It means a lot to me... Anything I can do to repay- you just ask me :-)

Hi kafetzou
I suppose "to be attractive" can be use for ladies not for men.
For the men we use "charismatic".

Are you talking about English or Turkish? In English, "attractive" can be used for a man, a woman, a baby, a house, a landscape, a haircut, etc., but it refers to the appearance only, not the personality. "charismatic" refers to the personality, and it can be used equally for a man or a woman.

As I wrote before "to be attractive" can be use in Turkish only for ladies not for men . I don't think to say it for a house or for a landscape. Because " to be attractive" has a little sex meaning in Turkish. It refers for us (for Turks) to the personality.
The original text is in Turkish. Therefore we have to keep meaning of the text.

"to be attractive" is English, not Turkish. Which phrase are you referring to in Turkish, merdogan?

Turkish text want to say for a lady that she is a little bit attractive. Because we can use this wort (text) only for a lady. (in Turkish)
I suppose there is between us a mentality differance. You are an expert for English. Therefore I have to agree with you.

Ah - thank you, Merdogan. In that case, your translation was correct. I didn't know about "havalı".

By the way, it's not a mentality difference - it's a language difference! "havalı" is NOT a direct translation of "attractive", since (as I just learned, from you!) "havalı" can be only for a woman, whereas "attractive" can be for both genders and other things as well.
