"Please accept...." definitely allows for the use of an exclamation mark at the end of the sentence. But you can easily go without it as well, because i doubt anyone will notice it anyway. | | |

For personal mails to some friends we use them in France, but never for this kind of official mails. And there's nothing more formal that this kind of mail politness formula in France. |
