Source language: Portuguese

O mar bárbaro e o deserto dourado. O Homem, os Elfos, os Anões, o feiticeiro, a feiticeira, os duendes e as bruxas. A gota de orvalho, o machado de pedra, o apaixonado, o desgraçado, a sombra da noite. A casa de pedra, estrela da noite, terra bendita, floresta da paz.

guilão,

Usually, "feiticeira" is translated by "witch". Compare this with that.

Ah yes, I forgot to say that later in the same text a "witch" witch is mentionned (bruxas) and I don't know how to deal with that

In this case, Webster's Online gave me "sorceress".

Just one more thing: as "feiticeira" and "bruxa" are quite synonyms in Portuguese, I suggest to translate "feiticeira" as "sorceress" and "bruxas" as "witches". "Feiticeira" isn't as depreciative as "bruxa".

"Deprecative" was what you meant, Oh Dear Goncy. Thank you again.
