Title
7. As it was said on number five
Translation
Engels

Translated by goncin
Target language: Engels

7. As was said in number five, we wrote the instructions in separate parts, regarding preparing meals and decorating for the ceremonies. What is the New Year's tablecloth?... What is the philosophy behind all of this?... And how does one proceed with Iranian ceremonies abroad?
Remarks about the translation
Assuming that "kio estas ĝia esta filozofia?" reads "kia estas ĝia filozofia?"

This one doesn't make sense, Goncin, but I don't want to reject it, so I'll tell you what doesn't make sense:

1) "adorning the ceremonies" = ?
2) Are you sure it's tablecloth rather than "table setting"?
3) How can a tablecloth have a philosophy? Maybe it means "What is the philosophy behind this?"
4) "how one proceeds" --> "how does one proceed"

kafetzou,

The original text itself is somewhat awkward. Let's see:

1) "adorning the ceremonies" -> preparing ornaments in the place where ceremonies will take place
2) The Esperanto is clear here, because "tuko" means "(a piece of) cloth".
3) "Its philosophy" refers to the New Year, not to the tablecloth.
4)

1) How about "decorating for the ceremonies"?
2) OK
3) How about "What is the philosophy behind all of this?"
4) I think "on separate parts" should be "in separate parts", but I'm not sure what it means.
