Target language: Engels

An extremely distressing phenomenon gained momentum among teenagers, but also among children whose ages are increasingly lower. Addiction to computer became a real drug from which children can be saved only with great difficulty.
Possessed by this electronic drug, by the possibility of electronic communication, by the competitions, always trying to exceed their own records on the last generation computer games, children have became extremely vulnerable, spending up to ten hours a day in front of the computer screen.

Hello Lilian,
Do you think it will sound better in the way Titanium1 suggested? I thought about it too when I did the translation.

Hi Madeleine,

Sentences of long periods have more than one syntax. You can choose, Titanium's suggestion sounds good.
