תן בי את השלוה לקבל את הדברים שאין ביכולתי לשנות אותם, אומץ לשנות את הדברים אשר ביכולתי, ותבונה להבחין בין השניים.

Although no one exactly knows where this prayer comes from, it is well known nowadays as the AA's "serenity prayer".

Francky, thank you for that piece of information. I have edited acc. to the link you provided. But there are a couple of problems in that connection. 1) The translation is now less reflective of the danish text that was submitted. 2) The text there begins with the word "my God" (one word in Hebrew).

What do you think?

Hi jairhaas! I had a look to the version in Danish of this "serenity prayer", and AA version uses "mod" instead of "styrke" (line 2). So it would be better to use what is the most reflective of the text submitted by the requester, you're right.
And of course, "My God" is not to be used in the Hebrew version, as it isn't in the original version in Danish either.

Have a nice evening!

The corrected Hebrew version also uses "mod" (= courage), so I guess everything is okay.

Good Night!
