la frase significa un imparativo,pero' penso che sia stato usato "terza persona sing." per essere gentile..quindi la traduzione deve essere Go to your love! (which means 2nd person plural)

"(egli) va dal suo amore" è presente indicativo, terza persona singolare.

per essere gentili con l'imperativo usando la terza persona singolare ("lei", si dovrebbe dire "vada dal suo amore".
"vada" è la terza persona del congiuntivo presente, tempo verbale che indica anche ordini e consigli.

la frase che ho tradotto, "va dal suo amore", ha un solo significato, cioè presente indicativo, che in inglese si traduce con il present tense "he/she goes to his/her love".

Tutto chiaro? Se ci sono problemi lo spiego in inglese.

Actually, I think both translations would be possible: present and imperative.
Perhaps the imperative form would be:
"Go to her/his love!"

In italian the sentence "va dal suo amore" isn't imperative, even if there's an exclamation mark at the end, is simple present.

"va": 3rd person singular, present tense--> va dal suo amore
"va'": 2nd person singular imperative tense BUT the sentence would have been "va' (with the apostrophe because is a sort of abbrevation of "vai", 2nd person) dal TUO amore", the possesive adjective "SUO" indicates the 3rd person.

The right imperative sentence is "vada dal SUO amore" (3rd person) or "vai dal TUO amore" (2nd person).
The simple present is "va dal suo amore" (3rd person) or "vai dal tuo amore" (2nd person), like the imperative.

Imperative can also be: Va' dal tuo (suo) amore


But this is without any doubt He or She goes.
