Have it your own way. Be happy. I'm willing to stay without you. At least I had a life but it's gone, too. |

'I am agreeable' sounds very official - could that be 'I am willing to'?
For the last sentence, do you need the comma?
With a comma, it becomes almost an explanation of the previous sentence (for example: I do believe you. At least, most of what you say); without a comma, it seems to make more sense ( 'whatever else happened, at least I had a life' ) | | | 24 ožujak 2012 17:47 | | | Hi yourself,
You can change it to things you suggested | | | 26 ožujak 2012 19:14 | | | Have it your own way...> Do what you want to be happy. | | | 26 ožujak 2012 19:28 | | | I wouldn't say that. It means "mutlu olmak istediÄŸin ÅŸeyi yap" | | | 26 ožujak 2012 23:34 | | |
Evet, çünkü orijinal öyle diyor.
Sizinkinde "Have it your own way" çevirisinde "mutlu olmak" baÄŸlamı yok. Sizinki "benim yolumu kendi yolun yap " gibi bir baÄŸlam olabilir. | | | 27 ožujak 2012 14:41 | | | "Have it your own way" is an idiom and means to accept an action someone want to do. In Turkish "nasıl istersen öyle yap/nasıl mutlu oluyorsan öyle yap/kafana göre takıl/sen bilirsin and all".
"Do what you want to be happy" means to do the things that makes you happy. | | | 27 ožujak 2012 17:58 | | | Evet, çünkü orijinal öyle diyor.
"Have it your own way" dosen't say about "to be happy" . It can be also "Have it your own way to be sad" | | | 27 ožujak 2012 18:01 | | LeinBroj poruka: 3389 | But that specificity is added by the second sentence. It would be very difficult to interpret 'have it your own way' in THIS text referring to anything else than 'be happy'.
Thanks all - I'll accept | | | 27 ožujak 2012 18:34 | | | It literally means "do it however you will be happy". I think there is basically no different from "have it your way". | | | 27 ožujak 2012 18:39 | | LeinBroj poruka: 3389 | I agree
Another possibility would be 'Whatever makes you happy'. |
