Title
I took the girl's
Translation
English

Translated by kafetzou
Target language: English

I took the girl's, she can't go in today.
what time do you leave work? I'm meeting michel at around 6:30 - your work is near there..
Remarks about the translation
It could also be "the daughter's". It doesn't state what belonging to the girl/daughter was taken (key? car?).

Chantal, why did you take out the apostrophe? This is wrong now - it should be "I took his daughter's" - the noun is missing - it could be his daughter's car, his daughter's key, we don't know.

Sorry for butting in but I see "kizinkini" (and it's "kızınkini" NOT "kızınınkini" ) is not translated correctly,

it should be translated as "hers" "-ın" is possessive suffix here, but it is not obvious what is the object belonging to her)

(like "benimkini", "onunkini" )

so it should be, I took hers (I took the "thing" which belongs to her).

I don't agree with it because it is written "kızınkini (hers\the girl's)" and you understand it as "kızınınkini" (her\his\daughter's
