Your input is always welcome, dear. CC: gamine | | | 2008년 12월 15일 19:05 | | | Hi Lilian,
Yes, they are synonyms, but "resolute" sounds so "fancy"
I thought that "decided" is much more simple and... easy to understand
| | | 2008년 12월 15일 20:03 | | | I know this one has already been accepted but wouldn't 'determined' be the word you're looking for here? CC: lilian canale | | | 2008년 12월 15일 20:11 | | | I don't know what the problem with "resolute" can be. It means 'determined', 'decided', 'strongly concentrated', 'devoted', etc
Not being a very 'common' word in everyday speech does not mean that it's wrong. Indeed, I like it, it's strong and clear.
Anyway, thanks everyone for your help. | | | 2008년 12월 15일 20:21 | | | Yes, you are right dear Lilian. I love it because one can express what he/she thinks. But great to that you are there to explain after. You are learning me a lot of things and that what's I like. CC: lilian canale |
