I don't think the translation is bad per se, (it's grammatically correct, in any case) but maybe it'd sound a little better to put the "In Romania" after "hot" and replace the "good day" by a simple "hello". I'd also be tempted to replace "scorching heat" by "heat wave" but I'm not exactly sure about the exact difference between the two. I'm assuming "scorching heat" means it's well, really really hot, while "heat wave" is a recognized meteorological "condition", if you see what I'm trying to say
