There's something that sounds wrong here about the wording.
"I've been around 10 months in Turkey" that should read either:
"I've been around in Turkey for 10 months" (I was traveling around Turkey) or
" I've been in Turkey for about 10 months" (I got here about 10 months ago)

What's the correct meaning?

The last one!
"I've been in turkey for about 10 months (im still in turkey)"

For me it is not to complicated.It is;
"My friend, I approximately am in Turkey since 10 months , I'm waiting for you."
