Is this Turkish, and if it is, why are there characters like this "þ" and like this "ð", these two letters don't belong to the Turkish alphabet, do they?

Yes Turkish, but for some reason I do not know, "ş" becomes "þ", "ı" becomes "ý", "ğ" becomes "ð" etc if the computer does not support Turkish characters such as "ş","ğ" "ı" etc. We, turkish speakers are used to it, though.
