First off, "prefigure" is in the active voice in the original text but your translation suggests it be in the passive voice, if you have noticed.

And yes I agree. "ortaya çıkarmak" is not the exact equivalent for "prefigure" and could be replaced well with your suggestions. But then the translation would be like "Bu, sonlu kapalı kalıp süreçlerini üreten modern güvenlik mühendisliği tekniklerini tahmin eden bilgisayar güvenliği üzerinde daha çok çalışmalarına neden oldu", which is vague and sounds terrible and leads to ambiguation in turkish. That is the reason why I concocted an anlternative translation for "prefigure" and used "ortaya çıkarmış".

Then, how about this?
