And yes I agree. "ortaya çıkarmak" is not the exact equivalent for "prefigure" and could be replaced well with your suggestions. But then the translation would be like "Bu, sonlu kapalı kalıp süreçlerini üreten modern güvenlik mühendisliği tekniklerini tahmin eden bilgisayar güvenliği üzerinde daha çok çalışmalarına neden oldu", which is vague and sounds terrible and leads to ambiguation in turkish.
