In fact, charisgre, you have always better solutions than mine. "Mansuescis" was the best I could find, but domitas seems to be indeed more appropriate.

I agree with charisge "mansuescere" rather refers to animals, so "domitare" is better verb indeed. But there is also such a verb like "mansuefacere" and this one is good as well, if it is not the best option for the sentence.
Anyway I suggest to change "quid" into "quod". "Quid" is a "pronomen interrogativum", a pronoun used in order to ask a question, meanwhile we need a "pronomen relativum" here, so it definitely should have been "quod".
