Target language: English

The 'tash' is nearly over
Remarks about the translation
Tash is a military Hebrew acronym literaly meaning 'service conditions', but referring to the various alleviations a soldier may receive in his military service (such as, extra pay, permission to work as a civilian, sleeping at home etc.). In this case I am guessing the speaker means that the process of finalizing these alleviations is nearly complete.

Hi Milkman, Hi libera,

Could you please post your comments in English. I'm afraid I'm not able to understand Hebrew and what is to be evaluated here is the English version.

We were discussing the optional meanings of "tash" which is an acronym in Hebrew. We are not completely sure of what, since the common meaning doesn't really fit into the sentence. I don't think the translation could be improved in any way, unless we get a wider context.

Hej wkn. Har overhovedet ingen idé om hvordan jeg skal oversætte "tash'. Order betyder " Sten " på tyrkisk, men er også et slangudtryk for "moustache"
der henviser til mænd med overskæg OG magt. F. eks "Hitler "," Sadam hossein" osv.

But as I said before, the guy that wrote that is in the army - and he really dont want to. But in Israel he has to - for three years. So maybe it is something about power, like Hitler and stuff. From wars?

No, of course not!
It's either about his service conditions or some sort of field maneuver. No connection at all to Hitler or anything like it.
