And yes, you're right, jedi2000, even in English (that borrowed a French word here) "façade" reads with the "ç".

I would say Pia is right
People use "flot" all the time about things that are beautiful, but it isn't the right word. "flot" is something that is good-looking, attractive or stylish. Beautiful in Danish is "smuk"
