The similar saying in English is not as literal as this translation. It is: "Eyes that do not see, heart that does not feel"

I agree with Angelus.
It means that when you don't see with your own eyes something harmful, you will not get hurt.
It's a popular saying everywhere.

What's better: keep as it's now or change it?
Because I don't if Teresa wants a literal translation or a 'saying' translation.

Hi, Diego:
Since the request is not "only meaning", if I were you...I'd edit it to what is more accurate for
common
use into the target language.
Or... you can keep the line as it is, correct in meaning, anyway.
It's up to you.

Se eu traduzisse a tradução ficaria assim: Olhos que não vêem, coração que não sente.
O correcto seria: What eyes don't see, the heart doesn't fell.
