Source language: Greek

Ευχές, ευχές...γιατί ευχές; Αχ δεν το είδα! Χρόνια πολλά και εύχομαι τα καλύτερα να είναι αυτά που θα έρθουν. Φιλιά!
Remarks about the translation
B.e.: "euxes euxes giati euxes? Ax den to eida . Xronia polla kai euxomai ta kalitera na einai auta pou tha erthoun. Filia"

Title
Wishes...
Translation
English

Translated by Majax
Target language: English

Wishes, wishes... what for ? Oh, I didn't see it ! Best wishes to you and I hope all the best is still to come. Kisses !
Remarks about the translation
I translated the expression as "Many wishes to you", but depending on the context it can apply to birthday, nameday, holidays (Christmas, Easter), special events (wedding, birth...), with each case having specific formulas in English. In Greek it can be expressed by specific formulas or by the generic "Χρονια πολλα".

Hi Majax,

I can see 'many wishes' is what the original says, but would 'best wishes' not be a better way of saying this in English?

Hi Lein,

It could be indeed a more natural expression, as only the signification was expected, I wasn't so picky
Sorry for that, please feel free to propose your correction.
