Solen skiner, fast några moln syns på himlen... Blommorna blommar och fyller skogen med färger... Jag går barfota i det mjuka gräset ... Äter söta jordgubbar under ett strilande sommarregn... Badar i skärgårdens många vikar till ljudet av fiskmåsar... Det är sommaren för mig... |

The sun is shining, but I can see some clouds in the sky... Flowers bloom and fill the forest with colors... I walk barefoot on the soft grass... Eating sweet strawberries under a gentle summer rain... Bathing in one of the archipelago's many bays to the sound of the gulls... That's summer for me...
| Remarks about the translation | - "syns" literally mean something like "are visible", but I thought "I can see" sounded better in English - The verb "strilar" means "sprinkle". My dictionnary advises to use "gentle" when talking about rain, and I think it does sound nice, here :) |

And, no, it doesn't sound particularly better in the plural than in the singular in English, so I'm changing it to the correct form | | | 5 September 2007 09:21 | | | Very gentle translation. I just wish to correct the translation according to the source text: "I eat sweet strawberries...", the Swedish tex says: 'Eating sweet strawberries...'
The same with next phrase: "I bathe in one...": translation of source text: 'Bathing in one...'
This text is a descriptive text where a person describes what he think is summer. | | | 5 September 2007 10:38 | | CocoTNumber of messages: 165 | True, I should probably stay closer to the original Thanks, Porfyhr, I'm correcting it! |
