Title
Text
Submitted by skan3220

Title
the lost love, to the one who lived deep inside of me
Translation
English

Translated by elmota
Target language: English

the lost love:
to the one who lived deep inside of me although his love for me has vanished, whom I kept inside my heart in spite of the wound he caused, and who will remain the only one in my heart even when absent; to him and to whoever suffers like I do, I dedicate this whisper:
we wonder when, how, and for what?
Remarks about the translation
the problem is that the original lacks punctuation and sounds like it has a second part chopped out of it

Hi elmota

Can you put in some punctuation here? It doesn't make sense in English in its current form.

Hi again elmota

This is better, but there are still some problems in English. For example, you can't say "to whom lived ..." - it has to be "to him who lived ..." This is true of all the cases where you have "to whom + active verb".

OK - thanks. I did a few more edits - please check and let me know if it's still a correct translation.

we sometimes wonder when the simplest answer is stairing at us in the eye
this one is much better and pretty simple!
