vmeste means together, i believe that should be implied more clearly in the translation, for example: but I told them we should wait for you and then we all can discuss it together.

I would still wait for the expert's opinion on the English version, since what sounds fair in one language, doesn't always sound the same way translated literally in another. My opinion is that "together" is implied in the translation and shouldn't be mentioned particularly...
Or maybe it's not important at all...

"join in the discussion" sounds good to me. (:
