I haven't told them anything yet. They wanted me to, but I told them to wait for you to join in the discussion.

The word "vmeste" is not translated.
It should be: "but I told them to wait for you and then talk all together(about it)".

It is fully implied, Sunnybebek. Otherwise the speech would only be burdened.

vmeste means together, i believe that should be implied more clearly in the translation, for example: but I told them we should wait for you and then we all can discuss it together.

I would still wait for the expert's opinion on the English version, since what sounds fair in one language, doesn't always sound the same way translated literally in another. My opinion is that "together" is implied in the translation and shouldn't be mentioned particularly...
Or maybe it's not important at all...

Hum...What about:
"...They wanted me to, but I told them to wait for you to join in the discussion"?

ViaLuminosa, sorry I didn't read the previous comments. But I still think that without the "vmeste" thing the translation is a little ambiguous.
"join in the discussion" sounds good to me. (:

Yes, Lili, your version sounds the best for this text in English!
Should I already change mine into yours or agreement is not stable yet...
