Thanks for asking, I've been wondering if my bridge was clear or not. It was actually difficult to make the English bridge, because the Italian text is not easy written (as poetry is generally).
- "The cypresses that, tall and slender" -> "The cypresses that are tall and slender"
- It means that there are two lines/rows of cypresses enclosing the path that the poet is recalling.
