Google translate is just not up to the task!
In romanji it reads...
taoreta kodomo mo kahou shita. |

I nursed the child who had fallen down. | Remarks about the translation | I assume the romaji version kahou is actually kaihou which means nursing and hence the translation
Another option might be 'embraced'. |
