I think you do not understand what I'm questioning.
I know that "specify" or "classify" are verbs.
However "specified" and "classified" are the past participle forms of those verbs.
You may use "classified" as an adjective derived from "classify", like in "classified advertisements", but the adjective derived from the verb "specify" is "specific", not "specified".
