Do we need to use "for that matter." or isn't to use only "even" enough?

There is a small difference in meaning:
I can even love you till the end of my life = it is even more / stronger than that: I can love you till the end of my life.
for that matter: as far as that is concerned; now that we mention it - so it comes across as something a bit more casual / natural.
