Maybe you could put "I am fire itself", leaving out the article "the". This is just a suggestion and a question of style.
I find the tone of the whole phrase very arrogant and the absence of article would seem to stress this arrogance.

Yes, you're right. It's really arrogant. So I've removed the article "the" as you suggest.
