Hi, can you make a bridge for me in English? And, by the way, is the original text corect? Should it not be "Ich habe dich geliebt?" or I'm mistaken?

I agree with iepurica, I think the original German version should be this one: "Ich habe dich geliebt!", so it can't be translated into Romanian as "Te iubesc!", but "Te-am iubit!" (past completed action).

no, its correct in german, but its something that can hardly be translated into english... its something between "I like you" and "I love you". "I'm fond of you" could be a possible translation.

Oh, it's good to know then! But what iepurica and I proposed means "I loved you"/"I used to love you", right? What about the Italian translation I've seen somewhere here: "Ti voglio bene"? I believe it's not that appropriate...

"Ti voglio bene" comes close to it. What's important is, that its NOT perfect but present tense. "Ich hab/e dich lieb" and "Ich habe dich geliebt" are 2 totally different meanings.
