I don't understand Turkish, but I think the first sentence is more likely to be:
"How is entertainment like, here?" than "How was entertainment?"

Am I right or the verb is really into past tense?

In the original text, first sentence verb is into past tense. But according to meaning, "How is entertainment like, here?" is better. In addition, Turkish sentence was written wrongly.

for example: "nasıdı" isn't true. "it must be "nasıldı".
