It's an imperative clause with a 3rd person subject: "Let him/her never lose his/her faith in God".
I know it sounds quite horrible (but you only need to remember that here we have a 3rd person imperative).
I'll write it in Italian too, which is much better: "Non perda mai (lui/lei) la sua fede in Dio"
