You didn't make faults, translation is grammatically correct, but in French it just sounds a bit odd with the second proposition at the present tense.

Here are a couple of suggestions on how a French speaker would say it

"... parce qu'il n'a pas été fait à l'aide d'une équerre"
"... parce qu'il n'a pas été tracé à l'équerre"
