I hope your men do not make you sad. | Remarks about the translation | As another user suggested "men" means "the men of your life", perhaps her husband and son?
I would also go for "do not sadden you" but I'm not sure if it's proper english to use sadden with a person. I only see it used for "this saddens me" or "it saddens me to...". |
