Consecutusque cohortes ad Rubiconem flumen, qui provinciae ejus finis erat, paulum constitit, ac reputans quantum moliretur, conversus ad proximos : "Etiam nunc" inquit "regredi possumus ; quod si ponticulum transierimus, omnia armis agenda erunt".
