Lilian used "baby", an endearment term, and it seems to be OK to translate "bichinha" in this context. However, "bichinha" is more used to refer to a sissy guy, but this sense obviously doesn't fit here.

Therefore,

I believe in my baby (or: my girl)

does it well.
