Si la phrase est un proverbe peu importe l'animal pourvu que le sens soit correct. Et il l'est. Sinon un burro en espagnol est un âne pas un singe. Je ne sais pas comment traduire le mot espagnol pour singe

I think you misunderstood the word, for in Spanish "âne" is "burro" (donkey) and "singe" is "mono" (monkey).
Here we are talking about a donkey that works hard.
