A tradução não está de todo incorrecta de todo o modo, a meu ver, o sentido da frase é outro:
Sou muito desprezado por ti, é pena porque te admiro

But it's this: "bewundere = admirar" and "adorar = anbeten/verehren"

I've translated first the "adorar" as "verehren", which is in english both: "adore/admire" (as you can see here)

English is not relevant here. I think the translation is fine and it should be left alone.
