Maybe "someone else" instead of "someone other"?

someone other -> someone else

Nicer or better, it works the same. But definitely someone else instead of someone other.

These forms are parallel, but they are sometimes used with different meanings.

someone other = another (different) person
someone else = another (one more) person

What does the original exactly mean?

It means "with another person".
But the form "someone other" seems strange to me. I haven't heard it before. Maybe "some other person"?
