I´m afraid there are two more Turkish-Danish translations waiting for my evaluation, so I´ll have to bother you again, Figen :-) No rush, just when you have the time!
"Have we not prayed to God together.. You without me, me without you, have we not cried apart"
["apart" meaning: not cried together but separately)
that's okay, Ani! do not worry, please, we'll finish all of them!
the meaning is okay!
just to let you, that the source text doesn't contain the words 'together' and 'apart', but perhaps in your lang you have to use it...in turkish lang these words are hidden in 'we'.
so,literally it says "Haven't we prayed to God? Haven't we cried, you without me, me without you?"
ah ok! Good to know. I think I´ll keep the word "apart", though, because the word for it in Danish rhymes beautifully with the words for "you" and "me".
