Hello Lilian,
"Fastus" is very uncommon and its meaning is quite pejorative (=superbia). I think "decus" or even "gloria" would be better here.

It's very bizarre! Lapsus sum?
Of course "honor/honos" would match too. But "decus" is commonly closer to what we call "honour", "honneur", etc., i.e. a virtue, not just a reward.
