¿Por qué te parece que tiene que ser 'usted'?
Puedes explicarlo, por favor? | | | 10 April 2009 09:40 | | | Hi Lilian,
"Usted" is in the original text.
English language doesn't tell the difference between these two. In both cases it's just "you".
| | | 10 April 2009 14:32 | | | "usted" is a pronoun used to address someone formally.
What is there in the Serbian text that shows that formality, different from "tú"?
Could you build the line in both ways just to manage to understand the difference, please? | | | 10 April 2009 17:51 | | |
"Nedostaju Vam više nego što mislite." - used to address one person formally
"Nedostaju ti više nego što misliš." - used to address one person informally
"Nedostaju vam više nego što mislite." - used to address more than one person both formally and informally | | | 10 April 2009 17:46 | | | | | | 10 April 2009 18:37 | | | | | | 10 April 2009 19:07 | | | Don't worry!
Thanks Maki, I'll edit | | | 10 April 2009 19:41 | | | You're welcome, LIli!
