Does 'filha' in this context always mean 'daughter' or could it mean 'child', 'little friend', 'honey' (between friends), i.e. a sort of sweet nickname for a friend, like it can in Brazil? 'Tochter' could be too literal (but I'm not sure!)
"Filha" in this context it means not "daughter". It's a little bit difficult to explain, since it hasn't any translation. It's not very usual to hear that from the kids, but it's usual to hear it from the old people when they see someone younger for example.
- Então, filha está tudo bem?
- So, (...) is everything OK?
