merhaba, fransızca bilmemem yanlış anlamalara yol açtı. Üzgünüm, fransızca yazdığım mesajları arkadaşlarıma yazdırmıştım, ama onlar hiçbir şeyden bahsetmedi.

hi, me not knowing french led to some misunderstanding. I am sorry, I asked friends of mine to write the messages in french, but they didn't tell me anything.

Does anyone have a copy of the original message (before the edit)? It seems to me that it originally said "onlara hiçbir şeyden bahsetmedim", which would mean "I didn't tell them anything" as opposed to "they didn't tell me anything".

Hmm, I recall it being "onlar hiçbir şeyden bahsetmedi" but I'm not really sure

I hope situation will resolve itself, looks like some private personal information in involved and you do not want to be mistranslated in such matters.

Best luck!

That was exactly why I wanted to be very careful, but if bonjurkes says he didn't change any of the actual words, then I guess we're OK with what we've got. Anyway, without access to the original posting, there's no way to know.
