That would sound better in English as:

I hope that it won't bring you (any) trouble/problems.
or
I hope that it won't cause you trouble.

Does any of those change the meaning of the original text?

Yes, as a professional translator, of course, You are right! Exactly phrase must be "I hope that it won't bring You troubles". 'Trouble' and 'problem' are easily interchangable sinonyms. Thanks for suggestion and kind regards to Brazil..., ;-)
