Hi, Lilian. "In regard" I would translate with "riguardo a". Maybe "as for" is too colloquial, but, in my opinion, it is the exact translation of "per quanto riguarda". What do you think about "as regards"? That "as" I think is the correspondent of "per quanto". Cosa ne dici?
