Iepurica, in the Latin text, it should be "turpitudinem" (accusative) and not "turpitudine" (ablative or dative)

"Personne n'est admis ou écouté s'il se prévaut de sa propre turpitude". I'll have to have look into my old dictionary in order to find thez proper English words
"No one is listened at if one avails oneself of one's own turpitude (or "baseness", or "base deed"

thanks anamaria, I googled it and found it
here yesterday.

(No doubt this kind of Latin expression is used in Law, as they like antediluvian sentences even when it's nowadays Laws, lol!)

So in France, meaning is :
"Personne n'est admis ou écouté s'il se prévaut de sa propre turpitude".
which really sounds like a law precept. A variant is indicated (admittitur as an alternative to "auditur"
