(No doubt this kind of Latin expression is used in Law, as they like antediluvian sentences even when it's nowadays Laws, lol!)
So in France, meaning is :
"Personne n'est admis ou écouté s'il se prévaut de sa propre turpitude".
which really sounds like a law precept. A variant is indicated (admittitur as an alternative to "auditur"
